Today, Holy Saturday, we remain in silence in front of Jesus’ tomb, awaiting with hope just as Mary did. And this evening, in the Easter Vigil, words and symbols will help us rediscover our story with God: the Light that drives out every darkness. Tonight we will be told: “Do not be afraid… He is not here. He is risen!”
Easter for me too, particularly this year, is a special invitation to stay with Him, looking for his presence in every moment. And together with the others who live with me, I’m finding so many opportunities to keep this reciprocal love alive between us, so that Jesus can remain with us, present in our home. And if He is with us, what joy could be greater?
