“The Way of Peace”. Our new album
“The Way of Peace” is Gen Verde’s new album! A new CD featuring many of the new songs produced by Gen Verde in recent years.
“The songs in this album touch on some of the biggest challenges of our time, of every time. To take ‘The Way of Peace’ means moving beyond the limits of our fear, facing together the sufferings that we and others experience. But there is light and we have hope. If we follow this way together, with outstretched hands and open hearts, we will find and be builders of peace in everything we do” , this is the description of the album, which also includes the latest song ‘Start Here and Now’.
The physical album is available on the ‘Made in Loppiano’ marketplace for the whole of Europe. And you can listen to it online on all digital platforms and on our YouTube channel.
“Partiture per Coro Misto – Vol.1”
To meet the many requests we have received, here is a new collection of scores for mixed (SATB) choir of the songs ‘Chiamati per Nome’, ‘Con te camminerò’ and ‘Nelle mani tue’.
The scores for mixed choir include accompaniment for organ/piano and guitar chords. Scores for violin or other instruments are included for each piece.
The songbook is available on the Made in Loppiano online marketplace for purchase throughout Europe. It is not available in a digital version.
‘Art that generates. Behind the scenes with Gen Verde’. Our online training course
On 18 September, we began conducting an online training course, promoted by Città Nuova. Together with 46 participants, during the first lesson, we talked about ‘The Creative Process’. We shared about the process behind the creation of our songs, albums, concerts and performances.
In the second lesson, entitled ‘Art that educates’, we talked about how the arts can be a privileged tool to facilitate education and transmit values.
Instead, in the third episode, ‘Art: Listening and Communication’, we explored how listening is fundamental for improving communication at all levels, fostering the creation of any kind of artistic work and improving the quality of human relationships.
In the last lesson, ‘Singing that generates harmony’, we talked about choral singing as a mutual gift. We shared some tips about our technique, method and spirit for singing together and creating healthy relationships.
Questions and feedback from the participants then gave the opportunity to go deeper into each topic!
