We set out on our journey sailing on a sea of light, secure in the joy of knowing that we are loved by God. Then, when we least expect it, the wind rises, and buffeted by wind and waves, we cry out in fear. But in the midst of the storm Jesus is there, walking on the water, inviting us to walk with him. We just have to trust him.
This song was inspired by the passage from the Gospel of Matthew 14: 22-33.
